Videoendoscopy

The clinic is equipped with three state-of-the-art video endoscopes: two dedicated to the examination of the upper respiratory tract and one 3-meter-long endoscope specifically designed for gastric evaluation.

The ability to assess different anatomical regions in real time using high-definition imaging allows for accurate and reliable diagnoses. Videoendoscopy is considered the gold standard diagnostic technique for the evaluation of the upper airways, major bronchi, stomach, and esophagus.

In addition to its diagnostic applications, videoendoscopy is a highly versatile tool for interventional procedures, including:

  • targeted biopsy sampling
  • sterile tracheal aspirates (tracheal wash)
  • local drug administration, such as in the treatment of progressive ethmoid hematoma
  • use as a surgical aid, including transendoscopic laser surgery

This minimally invasive approach enhances both the safety and effectiveness of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
